Wai! It's Davey again (from the band, AFI), and this time he's infinitley better than my last one of him. (Thank the gods!) I revamped my style for my AFI drawings (kinda a mixture of Daria and Megatokyo...) so I'd have something that would fit them better and work cleaner and stuff. I think a lot of it relies on outlines, but you know...

Anywho, I've been posting my AFI drawings on the AFI message board - [link] - and let me tell you, their criticism and comments has helped. My last Davey drawing didn't look much like him at all, and they told me so. It was kinda harsh, but I understood - they told me I should focus on a lot of his defining characteristics; hence, the dark clothes, the eyeshadow, the tattoos, and the fishnets. I kinda added the wings for effect. ^^

So, now I have my favorite drawing! I think this is one of the better ones I've done in a long time, despite its simplicity. Davey, when he's working, is very fun to draw - I absolutely adored doing his pants!
