Woot! It's Davey... in some water... with some tree branches... totally uncolored.

And it's for my buddy, Gothy-chan! Whee!

This is so totally unfinished, but I needed to at least get the preliminary (is that spelled right?) done cause it's for her birthday and I won't be around until next week.

It will be colored by then, mind you...

I so totally put this together yesterday in five minutes at 11:00 at night. I was all of a sudden like " SHIT! She wanted me to draw Davey!"

Which is why he's sitting in a river with some tree branches. Totally random.

I liked the way this turned out though... can't wait to color it! ^^

PS - Happy Birthday Gothy-Chan! Woot! :hug:

The background--the water thing--reminds me of TotalImmortal...first thing I thought of upon seeing it was 'sometimes this water feels so real/as i walk through it fills my lungs, my god, i'm drowning.' Either that or how in Greek mythology someone (forget who) who was bad in life was forced to (in the underworld) be in this water that lowered too far for him to reach when he wanted to drink and above him were branches full of fruit that bent up out of his reach when he tried to grab them. But Davey got the branch, cause he's a good little boy! XD
